29 Years!

29 was a banner birthday for me; Beeg surprised me and had my best girlfriends fly in for a weekend of spa activities, shopping, yummy dinners and lots of catching up and girl talk! It was wonderful to see Ash and Rebekah and Rob, we missed you tons!

I can't wait for our next get together.

Sit, Stay & Down!!

As most of you know, Cooper just graduated from Fido Foundations - an 8 week doggy obedience class. He got his certificate last week and even won a prize for holding the longest stay during our competition. We thought you'd enjoy a few photos from our practice sessions - Jack joined in the fun too and showed off his own commands.

Who knows, Westminster could be in our future! :)

Winter Daze

Oh boy, it has been way too long since our last post - we promise to do better! We've been hard at work trying to survive our first full Chicago Winter - also the 5th worst on record. We've seen enough snow for a lifetime, have learned to navigate sub-zero temps and wind that can cut your face.

Winter Daze

Oh boy, it has been way too long since our last post! We have been hard at work surviving our first full Chicago winter (which also happens to be the 5th worst on record)...the temps have been freezing, the snow has been falling constantly and we are arriving at that tipping point of insanity!! Alas, it was 50 degrees today which gave us a nice glimpse of better weather ahead.

Check out the boys in their Winter gear - they look cute and cozy, but it doesn't make them love the weather or going outside for potty any more. :)
